A downloadable toot

GLB Animator is a desktop tool for creating and editing skeletal animations directly on GLB/GLTF 3D models, without requiring a full 3D suite. It lets you apply bone skeletons, paint animations procedurally or by hand using a keyframe editor, and export the result as a ready-to-use GLB file. Designed for game developers working with Construct 3 and similar engines, it streamlines the animation pipeline from raw model to animated asset.

Features:

  • Open and preview GLB and OBJ files with real-time 3D viewport
  • Apply skeleton presets for common creature types: Human, Bird, Fish, Dog/Quadruped
  • Auto-skin mesh to skeleton with anisotropic weight painting
  • Procedural bone animations: Bird (Idle, Fly, Peck, Scratch, Drink), Fish (Swim, Idle) and more
  • Clip Timeline with blend in/out between animation clips
  • Keyframe Editor for recording custom poses frame by frame with smooth or linear interpolation
  • Bake and export skeletal animation as a standard GLB file
  • Morph target (shape key) support and procedural mesh deformers
  • Rotate, translate and scale bones with gizmos; live position and rotation readout
  • UV flip toggle per mesh to correct texture orientation for any model source
