update 24.4


Hello! I’m uploading a new update to the mechanism that I started but couldn’t finish due to my gaming PC’s fried power supply. I’ve switched to working on my old laptop, which is significantly weaker and sometimes struggles. I’ve fixed the AI for NPCs in Arroyo. Here’s the concept: NPCs are divided into three groups—Enemy, Friend, and Civilian. For example:

  • If we attack a civilian, all witnesses will turn against us.
  • Attacking a friend won’t change their status, and civilians won’t react to that incident. 
  • I also resolved an issue where attacked enemies caused civilians to become hostile toward us. Further tests will reveal what else needs fixing.
